TGIF babes!
I am back, finally. I know I have been pretty much MIA on the blog since March, but so much has happened in the world between then and now that I thought it was best to step away for awhile. My sister and I just got back to the city a little over two weeks ago, after being away for almost several months. While it was nice to be home in Delaware, and to be with family; it feels WONDERFUL to be back in my apartment. We’ve seen a few friends and neighbors, and gone to our favorite restaurant, and walks through Central Park. The city is still a bit quiet, but NYC is slowly starting to get back to a sense of normalcy.
I must say that I do miss getting dressed up for work, and putting on makeup and heels. Funny how we miss the things that we took for granted. I have found some of the cutest loungewear though, and pieces that I will be wearing long after all of this is over. I know I’ve talked about United Monograms before, but I am going to keep talking about them because they have the CUTEST pieces. My mom and sister are even hooked, and I know you will be too.
Today’s Look:
Monogram Sweatshirt – I am wearing a size small, and the style for the lettering is “vine.” These sweatshirts and tee’s are so comfortable, and they have such an assortment of designs, styles, and colors what’s not to love?
They make for great bridal shower gifts, birthday gifts, and even a gift for yourself. They come in sizes S-3XL and the lettering comes in “vine” and “circle.”
Leggings – I am wearing a size small in black. I think that both Under Armor and Old Navy have the best workout gear, and for a good price. They don’t fade, or lose their shape, and they are perfect for working out, running errands, and all of those crazy Zoom meetings.
They come in sizes XS-XXL and in black and grey.
Converse Sneakers – I am wearing a size 7. Sadly mine are from last year, but I was able to find a similar pair that have an even better gold overlay on the shoe. I never started buying Converse until last year, and I cannot believe I went so many years without them! They provide great support and I love that you can wash them off.
They come in sizes 5 – 11 and half sizes.
Headband – Fun Fact, I actually found this headband at T.J. Maxx a few weeks ago while in line. You find the greatest things while standing in the checkout line. Headbands have been my “go to” for probably the past year, and I am so happy that they are making a comeback. I love that you can dress up any outfit, even sweats, just by adding an accessory.
