When Springtime meets Jane Austen.

Can you believe that the official start to spring is only three short days away? It felt as if winter was a never ending cycle of snow, rain, and cold temperatures. Spring always brings longer days, warmer weather, and everything in bloom. I cannot wait for the cherry blossoms to start to show in Central Park, truly a spectacular site. Since we could not enjoy them last year, I intend on spending as much time in the park as possible this spring!

Along with everything beginning to bloom, I cannot wait for the warmer days of spring that lead into summer. No more heavy winter coats and boots, but sundresses and sandals. You can find me in dresses all throughout the spring and summer, they are just so comfortable, feminine, and they are perfect for every occasion. I’ll be sharing one of my favorite dresses for the season. It would be as if Jane Austen had met the 21st century. I have always loved every single Jane Austen novel, with Pride and Prejudice being my favorite; and I have loved the costumes in every film. This dress certainly gives you all of those romantic, and dreamy, underlying tones that Austen would surly write about in her novels.

Today’s Look:

Ruffle-trimmed Dress – I am wearing a size small. This dress is perfect for those warm spring evenings and even hotter summer ones. I wore this dress all last summer, and they now have it in the floral print, which I will have to get. Perfect for all body types and you can wear it out to dinner, date night, and perfect for a summer wedding. You get all of those dreamy feels in this free flowing dress that you’ll find yourself wearing it again and again.

This dress comes in sizes XS-XXL and in two other colors and patterns.

Jack Rogers Sandals – I am wearing a size 7 in gold. Jack Rogers always has the perfect sandals for spring and summer. Not only are they incredibly comfortable, I love that you can wipe them off if they get dirty, and they still look brand new. Perfect sandal no matter where you are going or what you are doing. I have a bunch of different colors and styles of Jack Rogers sandals.

These shoes come in sizes 5-10 as well as half sizes and several different shades.

Kendra Scott Mikki Open Ring in Gold – Kendra Scott always has the prettiest rings. I love dainty pieces, and they always have the perfect set to compliment any outfit. I love that you can dress them up or go for a more casual approach. No matter the occasion, you will always look polished and put together.
