Happy Monday!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend, and was able to relax and unwind. The weather was beautiful, and we are supposed to reach 83 on Wednesday! Springtime is always so beautiful in the city. You can just stand in Central Park and smell the flowers as they continue to bloom. The ice cream trucks are all around the city, so you know that summer is just around the corner. Spring and summer are my favorite seasons in the city. NYC is so vibrant and full of life to begin with; but summertime brings out an electricity in the city that you can’t help but want to join in on the fun.

As summer approaches, I think everyone is looking forward to being back in the office. I have missed getting dressed up for work in the morning, and figuring out what to wear (I am weird, I know), but I just loved that part of going to work. I am looking forward to doing that again, very soon. With going back to the office, that means work attire. I know I have said in the past how much I love Ann Taylor. They have such classic pieces, and you only need a few items in your wardrobe and you can create a million different looks. Plus, their pieces are timeless and never go out of style.

Today’s Look:

Petite Essential Shirt – I am wearing a size small petite in black. I love that Ann Taylor carries petite size blouses, easier to tuck into pants and skirts. The shirt is lightweight, so I can wear it throughout the summer and right into the fall.

This blouse comes in sizes XXS-XL, regular, tall, and petite, and in two different colors.

The Marina Pant – I am wearing a size 4 petite in white. I could LIVE in these pants. They are so incredibly comfortable and you can wear them all year round, which I have done. I purchased these pants two summers ago, and I wore them at least once a week. They are one of Ann Taylor’s most popular trouser.

These pants come in sizes 00-16, in regular, petite, and tall, and two different colors.

Gold Slide Sandal – I am wearing a size 7. This sandal is the perfect shoe for work and play, especially if you are going to be on your feet for a long period of time. They are incredibly supportive, and I love that you can wipe them out with a damp cloth if they get dirty…..(you know how these city streets can be in the summertime.)

These sandals come in sizes 5-11 as well as half sizes and in several different colors.
