Happy November 1st!
The city has been damp and dreary all week, but at least the weekend was sunny. I love walking around the neighborhood and seeing all the homes decorated for Halloween. Not much candy was given out this year, but it was nice to get into the Halloween spirit. I remember one of my favorite costumes ever was in the 4th grade when I went as Cruella Devil, complete with fur coat and wig. My sister went as a Dalmatian, but she broke her arm 4 days before Halloween, so she couldn’t go trick or treating. She was so mad that she had to give out candy. Poor Meg.
The changing of seasons also means cozy sweaters, blanket scarves, warm coats, and booties! Just to name some of my favorite things. I know I’ve said it before, but I will continue to do so – Fall is my favorite time of year. Maybe with everything that has happened this year, we will all get a mild winter, and very few freezing and snow filled days. One can only hope, right?
Cozy Sweater – I am wearing a S/M in beige. Red Dress has the cutest pieces, from sweaters, to dresses, to shoes. All for an affordable price. I have already worn this sweater a bunch of different ways. Dress it up with a leather skirt or pants, casual with jeans, or to run errands and throw on a pair of biker shorts and sneakers.
This sweater comes in size S/M and M/L and in several different colors.
Denim – I am wearing a size 4. Old Navy has always had great denim jeans. I usually only wear either Old Navy or Madewell jeans, and while they both vary in pricing, the quality is great, and they come in such a wide range of styles and washes.
The denim comes in sizes 0-20.
Mules – I am wearing a size 7 in silver. Again, Sam Edelman has the comfiest shoes, and I love that I can wear them all day without sore feet or blisters.
They come in sizes 5-11 and in half sizes.
I hope you had a wonderful and Happy Halloween!
