Happy Tuesday!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend! The weather was simply BEAUTIFUL! It felt more like spring in the city then fall, although the pumpkins were a good indication that it was November haha. My sister and I went with a friend downtown to the Seaport District, which I hadn’t been to in almost a year. Every fall Pier 17 installs a Pumpkin Arch that overlooks the Brooklyn Bridge and the East River. it is truly stunning at sunset. I know everything is a bit different this year, but next year I would recommend visiting. The installation is up from the beginning of October to the end of November. Bring the family, bring your friends! Just a lot of fun, and it makes for one heck of a photo!

For today’s post, I’ll be sharing one of my favorite looks for fall! I love that you can transition this look into the winter, which means I have more room in my closet haha.

Today’s Look:

Balloon-sleeved Sweater – I am wearing a size medium, in black. I tend to size up when it comes to sweaters, that way they are perfect for layering and tucking the front into denim or leather pants.

This sweater comes in sizes XS-XL and in black, beige, and lime green.

Leather Skirt – I am wearing a size 4 in black. My skirt is from two years ago, but South Moon Under is selling the skirt again, just in a different color. I get so many compliments on this skirt, and I love that I can wear it all year round. Add tights and a turtleneck, and you are set for winter. Pair with a silk tank and sandals, and you are set for spring and summer.

This skirt comes in sizes 0 – 12.

Studded Croc Ankle Booties – I am wearing a size 7. I have been searching for the perfect black bootie and I finally found them. They are replacing a pair that I had for the past 3 years and they were so worn out in the soles that I have to part with them. These have become my favorite bootie though! They add the perfect height, and I love all of the detailing. Plus, they go with everything!

They come in sizes 5 – 8, as well as half sizes.

Black Crossbody – Living in New York City you rarely ever carry a big purse. You’ll carry a work bag, but never a large purse. It is just safer, and easier to carry a crossbody. I found this bag in SoHo, and I was able to find almost an identical one online at Nordstrom Rack.

Have a wonderful day!
