Pop of Color in January.

Happy Hump Day everyone!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful long weekend, although I thought yesterday was Monday for half of the day! I hate when that happens. However, it was nice to take those three days to just finalize taking down all of my Christmas decorations, and tidy up around the apartment. My sister and I went to the Met (The Metropolitan Museum of Art) on Sunday afternoon and lunch, which was a lot of fun. Spending the afternoon in any museum throughout New York is something that you have to do at least once. Monday was spent going for a very long walk through Central Park. My sister and I walk every morning through the park, but on the weekend’s we go for at least a 2 hour walk. Even when it is cold outside we go. This is one of our little tradition since we moved here 4 years ago.

Speaking of chilly weather, I have found the coziest sweater for you! It is the perfect transitional sweater. You can wear it no matter where you live, and you can wear it right through the spring. Just forgo the coat. It adds the perfect pop of color to those dreary winter days, and those colorful spring days too.

Today’s Look:

Swim Too Deep Pullover – I am wearing a size XS in Lemon Love. This sweater runs large, so I would go a size down. This sweater is so soft, and I love that they they come in bright colors. Plus they go with everything; from jeans, to a skirt, over a dress, or leather pants. Very versatile.

This sweater comes in sizes XS-XL and in three different colors.

Black Faux Leather Leggings – I am wearing a size medium. I usually wear a size small at Pinklily, but these pants run small, so size up one. I did not want to spend a lot of money on a pair of leather leggings. I have leather pants, but those are for work. These are perfect, and I don’t need to roll them, which is great if you are petite. They wash great too, and make sure to hang dry them…..no baby sized pants haha.

They come in sizes S-L.

Studded Croc Ankle Booties – I am wearing a size 7. I have been searching for the perfect black bootie, and I finally found them. They are replacing a pair that I had for the past 3 years, and they were so worn out in the soles that I have to part with them. These have become my favorite bootie though! They add the perfect height, and I love all of the detailing. Plus, they go with everything!

They come in sizes 5 – 8, as well as half sizes.

Pom Pom Beanie – Who doesn’t love a good beanie? They are cozy, warm, and they look so cute with the little pom pom on top! I love that you can also put this in the washing machine, and it never loses its shape.

One size fits all and they come in a wide range of colors.
