Happy December!
I know, I have been MIA for most of the fall – between work and life, everything just got a bit hectic for awhile. I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family, and ate all the turkey and green bean casserole. I must confess, I am not the biggest fan of turkey, but I am a big fan of the cranberry sauce and macaroni and cheese! Plus, cannot forget the pie! Are you team apple or team pumpkin? I will have one of each!
While Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, Christmas has to be my favorite time of year – between the lights and decorations, family and friends, and of course the most important reason for the season; the birth of Christ. All throughout the month, I will be sharing my favorite festive wear and holiday gift guides – I know I am not the only one that waits until last minute to shop. (Story of my life!) Have no fear, I will be sharing the best deals and items to mark off on your Christmas list. Plus, hello to all of the fun Christmas sweaters and glittery dresses to wear to all of those parties and family gatherings.
Today’s look will bring out your inner Cheetah Girl (who remembers that Disney Channel movie?) The BEST! I wore this sweater dress for Thanksgiving and not only is it cozy, but it is the perfect dress for both work and a night out.
Sweater Dress – I am wearing a size small. The perfect length no matter your height, and it will look great on all body types. Plus, it washes great – no dry cleaning needed. Comes in sizes XS – 2XL.
Double Breasted Coat – Fun fact: This is my mom’s coat that she had purchased about 10 years ago and she no longer wears it. Ann Taylor and LOFT still carry the coat in different colors and I cannot tell you how many women stop and ask where I purchased it. So warm and chic!
Booties – I am wearing a size 7 and they are so comfy! Block heels always provide such support and you can wear them all day comfortably – plus, they go with everything! From dresses to jeans they are very versatile.
Sunglasses – J.Crew always has the best sunglasses. They are very durable, and they make for the perfect Christmas gift!
