Hello 2021.

Happy 2021!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s. I took a two week break from the blog, to spend time with my family, and be present in the moment. This Christmas and New Year’s was very low-key. My sister and I usually spend New Year’s in the city, but this year we hung out with our mom and grandparents. A nice little change. That just means that next year everyone will have to throw a HUGE party! I know we are all ready to see what 2021 has planned, and I believe that it will be a positive year filled with love, light, hard work, and being with each other.

Speaking of loving, I am loving my Shacket that I got for Christmas. I think I just like saying the word Shacket haha. Growing up when I would receive a gift, I would have my dad open it immediately. Now, instead of a Barbie, it is clothes or jewelry that I put on immediately. Do you save the gift, or use it as soon as it’s opened? ⁠

Today’s Look:

Shacket – I am wearing a size small regular in brown plaid. I have been obsessing over this trend all fall. At first I wasn’t sure if this would be warm enough for those chilly winter months, but, I was wrong! So incredibly warm and cozy and with the jacket being oversized, your can pair it with a cozy sweater underneath.

This shacket comes in sizes XS-XXL, regular, and tall, and in two different shades.

Sweater – I am wearing a size small, and I could just snuggle up in this sweater. So cozy, and I love that you can pair it with jeans or a cute leather skirt! The sweater washes great too.

This sweater comes in sizes XS-XXL.

Mid-Rise Skinny Jeans – I am wearing a size 26 in petite. These jeans are from last year, but Madewell is still selling them, and now they are only $40.

These jeans come in sizes 23 – 33 and in regular, tall, and petite.

Gold Mules – I am wearing a size 7 in gold. I have always been a huge fan of Sam Edelman, and these mules cannot be beat. Sometimes mules can be uncomfortable after wearing them for a few hours, but I can wear these for hours and not have a complain.

They come in sizes 5-11 as well as half sizes.

Fanny Pack – Living in the city I always using a crossbody bag, or fanny pack, when going out. I have my tote for work and an assortment of clutches to go with dressy outfits, but my daily bag is always a crossbody. Mine is sadly sold out, but I was able to find a very similar one that is also from ASOS.
