I hope that everyone had a wonderful week and a very restful weekend. It sure was a hot one here in Manhattan, but with the crazy rain we had on Thursday evening the humidity dropped significantly and we had a very comfortable weekend. I cannot believe that we are already nearing the middle of July, wasn’t it just Memorial Day?!?!
No matter if it is Memorial Day weekend or July 4th, we can all agree that the heat has been brutal this summer for everyone! During those brutal temperatures we want to wear minimal clothing, but still look appropriate and put together. Whether it is for work or play, a romper is a sure fire way to go. They are easy to throw on and you can wear a jacket or blazer over top for work and take it off when you are heading out to dinner with friends or family. Paired with sandals, or flats, you are ready to conquer your day all while staying cool and chic during these long summer days.
Romper – I am wearing a size small in white. While my romper is from the Spring collection, this one is very similar in the way that it cinches at the waist and has the dropped bell sleeves. All for a fun, flowy, and feminine vibe. This romper comes in sizes S-L and in white and color.
Block Heel – I am wearing a size 7 in Light Gold. I purchased them at Marshalls but I found the exact same pair online at Macy’s, which were a little higher in price than the same pair that I found on Belk ,which I have linked. They are an incredibly comfortable shoe and they are so supportive that you won’t even realize that you are wearing them. They come in 5.5 – 8.
Clutch – I stumbled upon this fantastic company and I have been forever changed. Studio DIY has the most adorable accessories, party ideas, and even balloons! In order to purchase this clutch you must subscribe. Each month you will receive a new clutch for only $19.99. From tacos, to clouds, to emojis, to poptarts! This month was bubbles.
Have a wonderful Sunday evening!
