Indian Summer.

Happy Tuesday!

So that last time I checked it was October, but it feels more like the beginning of August. I am all for warm temps and holding on to warmer days before we get into the grueling months of winter, but I love the fall. I am ready to wear all of my cozy sweaters, scarves, and booties. It will be 80 here in the city today and tomorrow. This is when I wish that I could go to the beach, sit in the sun and listen to the ocean lapping on the shoreline; but I can settle for sitting in Central Park and soaking in all its adventure and beauty.

However, with it being cooler lately I had put away all my summer clothing so I had to pull some things back out, such as the blouse that is on the blog today. I have actually come to find that you can transition a top like this into the fall by pairing it with black fitted slacks, jeans, a jean or leather skirt, and even overalls! You can dress it up or down by wearing sneakers, booties, flats or heals like I did. Now you have a very pretty blouse that you can wear in the fall. Who doesn’t love having an excuse for wearing summer pieces in the fall???

I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday and enjoys this beautiful weather as I believe that most of the country is having another taste of summer.

Blouse – I am wearing a size 4. With blouses like this I tend to either tuck the front portion of the top into whatever bottoms I am wearing or I tuck the whole top in so that it can provide a little bit more structure since the top is very boxy otherwise. This blouse comes in sizes 2 through 12.

Jeans – I am wearing a size 2 petite. I love these jeans! They are so comfy and while I love the fringe on the bottom, I am still too short. Even in the petite size I have to roll them- haha! But once it gets colder and I can wear my winter booties, I’ll be able to keep them rolled down. They come in sizes 0 through 18 and in regular, tall and petite.

Shoes – Sadly my shoes are no longer in stock but I was able to find a similar pair! They are so comfy and I love that you can wear these into the fall. Also, who doesn’t love an Espadrille?! They come in sizes 6 through 10.

BackpackI am obsessed with ASOS backpacks currently. Plus I love that you can clean them. Their backpacks come in so many fun colors and patterns.
