Happy Tuesday everyone!!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend, the weather was beautiful which was a perfect closing to the summer. My sister starts her Masters at Columbia today, and I could not be happier for her. I’m just sitting at the Starbucks across the street waiting for her and the campus is just beautiful….might have to go back to school…..just kidding one degree is enough for me. The move has run pretty smoothly and it is starting to feel like home. Pictures on the layout and details on the apartment will be coming soon.
With the weather being so beautiful this weekend, my family and I took the time to explore the city. While my mother moved here as well right out of college and we’ve been coming at least 3 to 4 times a year since I was little girl, we never really truly explored other areas of the city until this weekend. Plus our neighborhood is so adorable and our neighbors are very friendly.
Saturday night, I saw one of my very close friends who is like a brother to me perform at 54 Below which was so much fun and I couldn’t be prouder. Sunday we walked all through Central Park and yesterday we went downtown to Seaport which I had never been to, as our mom has been many times as she worked downtown in the 80’s.
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and thank you for bearing with me as I’ve been slow to post this past week, as we all know that moving takes up so much time but it is all very exciting.
Sweatshirt – I am wearing a size small. As I previously stated on a post about a week ago all geared towards cozy sweaters and sweatshirts I had this Madewell sweatshirt as being one of my favorites. They are just so cozy. Plus they have so many cute sayings.
Baseball cap – This is one size fits all, which stinks when you have a tiny head like mine haha. I love a good hat and both South Moon Under and J.Crew do a wonderful job with having cute yet affordable baseball caps. I love the leather in the front. In addition to that, they are now 47% off!
Dress – Sadly my dress is no longer in stock, but I found a similar one although in a different pattern. I am wearing a size small.
Crossbody Bag – I found the 2 similar versions of my crossbody bag, which is perfect for transitioning into the fall.
Crossbody Bag No. 2 – This crossbody is a little smaller which is perfect if you are going out for the evening and instead of using a clutch you have one with a strap.
My sunnies and Keds and jean jacket are from many previous blogs, but I’ve had to wear sneakers because I have such bad blisters from my shoes from the other night.
